Overview
Dex Paid and Dexscreener boosts cost real money, so most devs promise to pay for them out of the creator fees. Then it comes down to one person: whether they pay, when, and for what. Often they just keep the fees.
FUND takes that person out of the decision. When a coin launches here:
- The fees lock. 100% of the coin's creator fees go to a vault that belongs to that coin only, set on-chain in the launch transaction. With every claim, 80% stays in the vault for the coin and 20% is paid to the dev who launched it.
- Holders vote. When the vault can afford something, holders vote on what it buys: Dex Paid, a boost, or save for something bigger.
- The vault pays. The winning purchase is paid straight from the vault and matched to Dexscreener's own public order record.
For holders
How to vote
- Open a coin with a vote open. It has the Voting tag on the board.
- Click the option you want and connect your wallet.
- Sign the message your wallet shows. It isn't a transaction and costs nothing.
Who can vote
Any wallet holding at least 10,000 tokens of the coin can vote while the vote is open. Your voting power is what you hold when you vote, checked again when the vote closes: the smaller of the two counts, up to 5% of the supply.
How a vote runs
- The first vote opens 30 minutes after launch, whatever is in the vault.
- Each vote stays open for 60 minutes. The option with the most votes wins. Ties go to the option listed first.
- The next vote opens 30 minutes after one closes.
- The winner is bought as soon as the vault can pay for it. If the vault needs more, it saves until it can. A goal that isn't reached within 24 hours expires and holders vote again.
- If nobody votes, the default is Dex Paid, then the biggest boost the vault can afford.
- "Save it" buys nothing. The vault keeps growing and a new vote opens an hour later.
Spam protection
- One vote per wallet per round, and it's final. Votes can't be changed, so an old signature can't be replayed to flip one.
- Counted twice. Your holding is read when you vote and again when the vote closes, and the smaller counts. Buying to vote then selling adds nothing, and moving tokens to a second wallet to vote again doesn't either: the first wallet then counts for what it still holds.
- Minimum holding. Wallets under 10,000 tokens can't vote, so dust wallets don't count.
- Per-wallet cap. No wallet counts for more than 5% of the supply, so one whale can't decide every vote.
- Signed by the holder. Every vote is signed by the wallet holding the tokens. Nobody can vote for you.
- No insiders. The launcher's wallet, the bonding curve, liquidity pools and the vault itself can't vote.
- Rate limits. Vote requests are rate-limited per connection.
What's on the ballot
Dexscreener list prices. Dex Paid is a one-time purchase, so it leaves the ballot once a coin has it.
How the vault buys
Dexscreener has no API for buying, so every purchase goes through Dexscreener's own checkout:
- Once the vault can pay for the winning option, the purchase is queued.
- The order is placed on Dexscreener's marketplace for the coin.
- It's paid in SOL straight from the coin's vault to the checkout, capped at the price quoted when the vote was won plus 15% for price movement.
- The payment shows on the coin page with its transaction.
- FUND reads Dexscreener's public order record for the coin and marks the purchase Verified once the order appears there.
For launchers
- Your coin is a normal pump.fun coin, tradable anywhere pump.fun coins are.
- Launching costs about 0.013 SOL plus any first buy, in one transaction your wallet signs.
- You receive 20% of the creator fees, paid to your wallet with every claim. The other 80% goes back into the coin, and you can't vote on how it's spent. That's the point: holders know Dex will get paid.
- You keep any tokens you buy, like any other holder.
The fee lock
pump.fun lets a coin send its creator fees to shareholders through a fee sharing account. FUND creates that account in the launch transaction itself, with one shareholder: the coin's vault, at 100%.
The account's admin is FUND's launch key, never the launcher. pump.fun has disabled the instructions that would revoke or hand over that admin, and FUND never changes a coin's shares. Each vault is a separate wallet for one coin; nothing is pooled.
Fees
FUND keeps 10% of each fee claim to run the service. It's taken in the same transaction as the claim, so it's visible on-chain. The rest stays in the vault for holders to spend.
Verify it yourself
Every coin page links these, so you don't have to trust the site:
- Fee account: open it on Solscan and check its only shareholder is the vault, at 100%.
- Vault: every fee claim in and every Dexscreener payment out is a public transaction.
- Dexscreener: api.dexscreener.com/orders/v1/solana/<coin> lists every paid order on the coin.
What you still trust
The fee lock is fully on-chain. The purchase can't be: Dexscreener has no buying API, so FUND places the order and holds the vault keys to pay for it. What limits that:
- A vault only pays for a purchase the holders voted for, and only up to its quoted price.
- Every payment is public and must match an order in Dexscreener's own record to be marked verified.
- Each coin's vault is separate, so a problem with one coin can't touch another.
